Meetings

All meetings start at 7.30pm with the exception of May's meeting which commences immediately after the Annual Parish Meeting

The venue for each meeting is Uffington Village Hall SY4 4SQ

In light of the recent resignation of two Councillors and subsequent request for an election to fulfill these vacancies in the Parish of Uffington, the next confirmed Uffington Parish Council meeting will take place on 11th May 2026 at 7pm in Uffington Village Hall, this will also be the Annual Meeting.

There will not be a meeting in March, but we will try to hold one in April.  To hold a Parish Council meeting in Uffington we would need all three current Councillors to be in attendance at meetings in order to be quorate and this may not be possible in March and April. This brief pause in meetings will also allow time for the election of two new Councillors in April and the Parish Council, with it's new members on board to once again become a group working together for the good of the community.

In the meantime, please be assured that Parish Council business and the furthering of current projects will continue as normal.  As always, should you have any concerns that need addressing before this date, please contact a Councillor or forward your concerns to the Clerk who will ensure Councillors are made aware and take any necessary action.  We hope that with the election of two new Councillors the Parish Council will be able to move forward in serving the needs of our Village.

At the start of each meeting a period of 15 minutes will be set aside for the public to speak, with a strict 5-minute limit per speaker.  Members of the public may speak on matters appearing on the agenda.  However, if a matter does not appear on the agenda, a written request should be submitted to the Clerk no later than 2 working days before the meeting.
